We’re Amir Deen and McKenna Themm – travel partners, and the wandering duo behind Resort Insider. Our shared passion for exploring the world’s most exotic and luxurious destinations inspired us to create this space.

As a San Diego native, Amir’s love for travel was ignited at a young age by family road trips and camping adventures. His insatiable curiosity and talent for storytelling led him to pursue writing, allowing him to vividly capture the spirit of a place. When he’s not crafting engaging travel content, you can find Amir enjoying the great outdoors or bonding over delicious meals with loved ones.

McKenna, on the other hand, took a more unconventional path – acquiring her MFA in Poetry before co-founding a digital content agency. Her experiences living abroad as a digital nomad have enriched her writing with diverse perspectives. Mckennadeftly transports readers through evocative descriptions of hotel architecture, amenities, and ambiance.
